Not Just for Residents
Phoenix Recovery House runs a residential program for women. But we're also building something for the whole recovery community—people in other programs, people just starting out, family members, anyone who needs support.
What's Available Now
SMART Recovery Meetings
Every Wednesday, 6:00 PM
Christ Episcopal Church & St. Barnabas Chapel, West Main Street &, S 6th St, Clarksburg, WV 26301
Free. Open to anyone. No registration, no commitment, just show up.
SMART Recovery is evidence-based—it uses cognitive-behavioral techniques and motivational strategies instead of a 12-Step model. Some people prefer it. Some people do both. Either way, it's here if you want it.

What's Coming
When our new facility opens in Clarksburg, we're launching a drop-in center open to everyone in the recovery community. Walk in, no appointment. Grab coffee. Talk to someone who gets it. Get connected to resources. Find out about treatment options or recovery housing. Just be in a safe space for a minute.
We're also opening a community visitation center—child-friendly rooms where anyone in recovery working toward reunification can have supervised visits with their kids. You don't have to live at Phoenix House. You don't have to be in our program. If you're in recovery and you need a safe place to see your children, it'll be there.
And we'll be expanding programming: more meeting times, family support groups for loved ones, prevention groups for kids and teens, workshops on addiction and recovery.
All of it free. All of it open to the community.
Why We're Doing This
Because recovery doesn't happen in isolation. Because one recovery residence can't meet everyone's needs. Because if we can offer a safe place for a parent to visit their child, or a space for someone to just walk in and ask for help, we should.
We're building a recovery hub, not just a house.
